Subject Attributes
Meta-Human Abilities:
White Martian Physiology: As a member of the war-like 'White Martian' race, M'gann has a number of skills and abilities stemming from her origins, common across the species. These include the following:
Martian Optics: Martians are born with an incredible vision and are capable of seeing in a number of spectrums: ifrared, x-ray and electro-magnetic. Using said vision, M'gann is able to see in the dark clearly and locate ambient heat signatures. She can also 'zoom in' on images further afield and examine incredibly small life-forms usually invisible to the naked eye. Like Kryptonians, Martians are capable of generating thermal energy with their stares, creating what is commonly known as 'thermal blasts.'
Malleable Form: Martians are renowed for their ability to shift their shape. In M'gann's case, she is such a natural shape-shifter that she is capable of maintaining a permanent disguise with minimal effort, appearing as a Green Martian so successfully that most she meets are completely unaware of her true 'White Martian' heritage. Indeed, she is so far removed from her natural form that her 'green' self could be considered her 'conscious' default - she sees herself as a green martian and thus naturally assumes that shape.
That said, M'gann is capable of assuming near enough any form, and can become both invisible and intangible by shifting the molecules of her being to either match her surroundings or by making her physical-self permeable. She has also shown herself able to grow extra limbs and increase her size and elasticity.
Telekinesis: While most Martians are not natural telekinetics, M'gann is capable of taking flight and lifting small objects with her mind.
Telepathy: M'gann is an accomplished mind-reader and telepath. She is able to broadcast her thoughts to others, but is also able scan the minds of those about her, reading surface thoughts, and, with more focus and deeper probing, glean hidden agendas.
Regeneration: Martian cells regenrate at an incredible rate, and thus M'gann recovers quickly from physical harm. When combined with her control over her cells and her natural elasticity, she is capable of reforming lost limbs almost instantly. Her ability to heal physical injury, however, does not help her in overcoming mental damage.

Standard Abilities:
Trivia: M'gann has an impressive knowledge of TVs and films, and has commited the plots of many to memory.
Translator: Using her telepathy, M'gann is capable of translating languages unknown, reading the mind of the individual as they talk in order to gain a clear picture of the message attempting to be conveyed.
Paraphernalia:
Titans' Communicator: M'gann is in near constant possession of a Teen Titans' communicator, allowing her to contact the Titans' Tower or other team members at will.
Subject Weaknesses:
Mortal: Despite being incredibly tough, M'gann is not invincible. She can be hurt and killed, like any other mortal being - even if it is a little harder to do so.
Fire: Like all Martians, M'gann is vulerable to fire. When exposed to naked flames, she loses control of a great deal of her powerset: her cells slow their regeneration and revert to their natural form, she loses control of her telepathy should she be using it and she is unable to alter her shape or phase until she has put some distance between herself and the blaze. This does not, oddly, apply to intense heat, only becoming an issue should a fire start.
Pyrophobia: Due to the reasons listed above, M'gann is terrified of fire. Being in close proximity to it can cause her to freeze or panic, and she loses her ability to make rational decisions. She has, however, built some mental resilience in regard to her near-petrifying fear, torture at the hands of Sun Girl proving she can survive blazes, even in the most dire of circumstances.
Mental State: M'gann is hyper-sensitive to the thoughts of others, and thus takes criticism to heart. She also often 'overthinks' issues she faces, and struggles letting go of negative emotions. While she might act bright and bubbly, she often stews on fears and worries, whereupon she takes long periods of 'alone time' to overcome them.
Code of Ethics: M'gann follows a strict code of ethics. While she has broken it on a number of occasions, she does her utmost not to read the minds of others without permission, and flatly refuses to infiltrate the thoughts of 'good people.'
Not of Earth: Having come from Mars, M'gann is not fully accustomed to the human way of life. Humans are, after all, confusing beings. While she is much more confident in her actions than when she first joined the Titans, some turns of phrase still confuse her, and she relies on TV shows and books to influence her proceedings.
Heritage: M'gann is afraid of her true heritage, and does her utmost to conceal it. She is ashamed of her White Martian race, and will do nearly anything to avoid growing into the monster that 'Manhunter' suggested she was destined to become.

Subject History
History suggests there are two different races of Martians, seperated from one another by their differing world views. The Green Martians were known to be peaceful philosphers and thinkers, while their cousins, the White Martians, were infamous for their war-like nature. Over time, resentment between the two species grew, and the White Martians took it upon themselves to prove their superiority the only way they knew how: through warfare. In what became a near-constant battle, the White Martians assaulted and massacred their green-skinned bretheren, and it was during this act that many Green Martians fled their home planet, being chased through the galaxy.
Wherever they landed, of course, the White Martians followed – even to the planet Earth.
Whether in pursuit of J'onn J'onzz, an Earth-dwelling Green Martian, or attempting to escape their own race – for not all White Martians agreed with the slaughter of innocents - a number of White Martians found their way to Earth too, travelling across the Vega System. Some found their way into the hands of the United States Government, becoming experiments or simply executed, while others – like M'gann M'orzz – managed to survive through their captivity and adopted an assumed identity, taking a form more palettable to humankind: that of a Green Martian.
From that moment on, M'gann lived as one of her race's green-skinned cousins, a change that indeed suited her soft demeanour. Keeping her true heritage a secret, she adopted the name 'Megan Morse' (for it was easier for humans to pronounce) and following in the footsteps of a Martian she'd never met, took the monicker 'Miss Martian', starting to use her Martian gifts to help those of the planet on which she'd found herself.
It was during this time that she met the Teen Titans, who were in a state of flux following the death of Superboy. Being offered a place among the team, she gladly accepted, and came to share a room with Ravager. M'gann did her utmost to learn how to better fit in with human society, having lived a fairly secluded existence up until that point, and welcomed interaction with other heroes. However, her initial stint with the team was short-lived. Not fully accustomed to the human humour, M'gann imitated vaudevillian antics after watching 'The Three Stooges' and threw a pie into her roommate's face. Angered, Ravager insulted the Martian, and as M'gann was highly sensitive to the thoughts of others, Morse fled the tower in tears and promptly quit.
They did not cross paths for another year, where M'gann and the Titans met in Austrailia, the Martian having re-located to the Tanami Desert as it reminded her of Mars. Meeting her in the city of Brisbane, the Titans requested she help her find a missing team-mate: Raven. Asking her to read the minds of former members of the team, hoping they held a secret that would aid them in finding the Daughter of Darkness, Megan refused, citing that it violated a personal code of ethics. She refused flatly to read the minds of 'good people.'
Her rules, however, were quickly forgotten.
As the Titans had left, M'gann did as request, wanting to be of help to her former team despite initial hesitation. In doing so, she discovered that Bombshell, another relative newcomer, planned to betray the group, and on attempting to warn the others, was attacked by the fiery mercenary. During the ensuing battle, M'gann's true heritage was revealed. However, she was not judged by the Titans, and they allowed her to continue working alongside them, finding her a valuable asset.
In the following months, M'gann aided the Titans in interrogating Bombshell and in battling the Titans East – having to withstand and overcome torture by Sun Girl and Inertia. She also played a part in calming the rising tensions between the World of Man and the Amazon populace, saving Wonder Girl's mother, Elizabeth Sandsmark.
Shortly thereafter, the Titans encountered their future counterparts – time travellers known as 'The Titans Tomorrow.' In M'gann's case, her future self was a predatory White Martian who had adopted the name 'Martian Manhunter.' Warring with the group, M'gann found her conscious had been infiltrated by the Manhunter, and she developed a condition akin to multiple personality disorder. Indeed, 'Manhunter' began to perform actions independent of M'gann's will.
Using documents forged while suffering from her personality disorder, M'gann began attending highschool under the name Megan Morse – now a legal citizen of Arizona.
Her next trial came when she and Kid Devil were abducted by the Terror Titans and taken to the Dark Side Club in Manhattan. While there, Kid Devil was manipulated, along with other captured heroes, into fighting in 'Trials By Combat'. During his fights, M'gann was able to free the minds of brainwashed prisoners using her telepathy. On succeeding, she, Devil and the captured heroes escaped, and Megan took it upon herself to aid Eddie overcoming the effects of brainwashing.
In doing so, she realsied she had not fully overcome her own mental control at the hands of the Manhunter, and fearing that she may come to embody her future-self, left to team briefly to concentrate on her emotional and physical state.
After a little soul-searching, M'gann was able to overcome her fears, and indeed block out the insistent voice and thoughts of the Manhunter. Striving to prove her growth, she returned to the Dark Side Club where she posed as Star-Spangled Kid, and was once again able to free brainwashed heroes from their clutches, leading the metahuman army they'd tried to build against the Terror Titans.
On doing so, she returned to the Titans as a full-fledged member, aiding in overcoming the Black Lanterns.
Subject Interview
The images that raced across her mind's eye were foggy, with a slight crystalline sheen to them. She could make out basic shapes, get a feel for thoughts and their attached meaning, but without focus, little more. It was a sensation that often accompanied her probing of an unwilling psyche, and the S.T.A.R labs guard, struggling against his bonds, was no different. He could no doubt feel her presence, note her consciousness influencing his own, and it was likely to make him even more uncomfortable than he already felt, surrounded by less-than-impressed meta heroes.
At first, M'gann had felt a little bad for him - tied to a chair and interrogated by teenagers, though it wasn't a feeling that was long-lived. Indeed, the moment it had been revealed that he'd allowed a criminal element to infiltrate numerous S.T.A.R labs facilities, she'd come to the quick conclusion that he deserved everything he'd experienced.
Who he'd allowed to infiltrate the complex, however, and what they'd been looking for – that remained a mystery. The duplicitious guard was far less forthcoming with that information, even with various threats made by her friends: none of whom carried them out. The guard just laughed them off in the end, and rather than continue with their line of questioning, M'gann had been asked to step in.
If they were to stop the thieves the guard had both aided and abetted, they needed answers. A gifted telepath; Miss Martian was able to retrive those answers with a judicial application of mental force. She'd been hesitant, not always comfortable with prying into the minds of individuals set against it, though she had agreed after a short deliberation: there was no other way, and the man whose brain she was to ferret through was not, in any way, a 'good' man.
Her first scan of surface thoughts, however, had revealed nothing – just the hazy images she had sifted through. To find anything of any use, she was going to have to dive deeper – something she'd expected, but had hoped to avoid.
With a deep breath, she pushed her conscious up against the misty, frosted layer that protected his own, and after a moment or two, felt herself move through it – a feeling comparable to forcing a finger through jello. Once on the other side, she was assaulted by noise, near indecipherable whispers of worry and desire, and her face – locked in concentration where she sat, only feet away from the guard – creased with a slight frown. He did not want her there – not that he had a choice.
“This isn't nice,” muttered M'gann aloud, audible to the other Teen Titans, made more so by the fact the guard, whose consciousness was linked to the Martian's uttered the exact same words, in a very similar tenor.
