Standard Abilities: Leadership - The Sewer King rules one underground society known as the Under-dwellers. He's good at ordering others to do his bidding. He's not afraid to use forms of discipline such as a few hours in a light-filled room. The Sewer King usually uses anger (scowling or shouting) to get his way.
Animal control - The Sewer King cares for pet sewer alligators and sometimes orders them to attack his enemies. The alligators are more than happy to obey him. They will never attack the Sewer King and the Sewer King never harms them.
He reveals affection near his pretty pets and will often scratch their snouts before they wag their tails.
Sewer knowledge - Due to living in the sewer for some time, the Sewer King has keys for every chamber. He knows where holes are on the floor. If one enemy pursues the Sewer King, he or she will fall through the hole and find himself/herself in one area with many of the Sewer King's pretty pet alligators.

Subject Weaknesses: Light/sunlight - Since the Sewer King lived under the streets, he became used to darkness. Sunlight or bright lights hurt his eyes if they contact them. All forms of bright light will cause him to wince and weaken for a short time.
Underestimating enemies - The Sewer King has a habit of abandoning enemies or assuming they are weak. He will panic and flee if the enemy appears and chases him.
Not good at hand to hand combat - The Sewer King uses his alligators to fight for him. He will gasp and cry out if the alligators are harmed. As previously mentioned, he will panic and run if he's confronted.
Subject History
Wendell Lewis was born in Gotham City, USA and spent his entire life in poverty. He never had enough money for material items or nice clothes. His parents always taught him ''children should be seen and never heard.'' The young Wendell never said anything to his parents.
Other children mocked Wendell and sometimes chased him due to his scrawny appearance with his bare thread clothes. They occasionally chased him into Gotham City's sewer.
While Wendell was in the sewer, he befriended alligators. His only companions. He never harmed the alligators and they never attacked him.
One day, other people saw the young adult Wendell near many of Gotham City's shops and chased him as usual.
They found various objects on the ground and threw them at him. They watched as the man lifted a sewer lid and fell through the hole.
Wendell looked back once and scowled. Since he was shunned by society, he had no choice but to dwell under the streets.
Although alligators were his friends, he had to figure out a way to obtain items such as food and clothing. He wandered the sewers and eventually came across a group of orphans huddled together. The orphans stared with wide eyes. His reaction was the same.
Wendell remembered others shunning him and smiled. Perhaps he could use the orphans to steal clothing and food for him. They were small and he assumed they were fast. Strength in numbers. Since Wendell never had nice items when he was a boy, he could use the orphans to pickpocket ''pretties'' such as jewelry. He approached the orphans and offered to teach them a trade - how to pick pockets.
He also offered to clothe and feed them.
Since the orphans were from places where nobody wanted them, they consented to be with Wendell.
The man formed a society known as the Under-dwellers and became their leader. Their king. The Sewer King. He revealed another side. A cruel side.
The Sewer King never permitted the children to speak. ''Children should be seen and never heard.'' Any kid speaking (ESPECIALLY during lessons) was placed in a light-filled room for a few hours. He forced the children to wear green hoods and go to the streets to steal ''lots and lots of pretties'' for their king. He also forced the children to farm in the sewer and sew clothes. The children usually watched as the Sewer King scowled and shouted frequently. They always dreaded the alligators wandering and seeing their many teeth.
The Sewer King continues to rule below the streets with lots and lots of pretties and his pretty pet sewer alligators.
Subject Interview
The Sewer King scowled and paced below the streets of Gotham City at the same time. Half-shades slid down his nose. Shoulder length black hair framed his long face. Dark eyes narrowed behind the half-shades. The Sewer King's arms tensed as they remained on his back. A red cape moved with every step.
The Sewer King never bothered to pause and straighten his long brown coat. His matching trousers. The string tie attached to his frilly shirt.
''I sent my children to obtain lots and lots of pretties for their king hours ago. Yes. Yes. Yes,'' the Sewer King said in a somewhat high-pitched tone. He continued to scowl and pace. ''I never had pretties when I was a boy. A poverty-stricken boy.''
Footsteps caused the Sewer King to pause. His scowl remained as he turned and looked ahead in one area of the sewer. ''My children will cause me great distress if they return with empty hands. Yes. Yes. They will. They will.''
The Sewer King stood in darkness. One companion. Darkness wasn't like the hateful light. The hateful light capable of hurting the Sewer King's eyes. Causing his body to weaken. Causing him distress.
A sudden smile replaced the Sewer King's scowl as soon as two alligators appeared. His eyes remained on the alligators as they approached him. The Sewer King scratched the alligators' snouts at the same time. He laughed while they wagged their tails. ''My pretty pets. You never cause me distress,'' he said to them.
