Subject Attributes
Meta-Human Abilities: Tamaranean Physiology: Ryand'r, like all Tamaraneans, constantly absorbs ultraviolet radiation through his skin, which his body then converts into pure energy. This enables the following physiological results:
Self-sustained Flight: Ryand'r was born with the innate ability to fly. Through channeling his absorbed ultraviolet radiation, he can propel himself unaided at staggering speeds and with impressive poise. Ryand'r can travel unharmed through the cold vaccum of space in this manner and manage interstellar travel. When Ryand'r flies, his hair leaves a distinctive contrail that looks aesthetically like flame.
Superhuman Speed and Reflexes: He can move more swiftly, and react more instantaneously than the greatest human athletes.
Superhuman Durability: Ryand'r can face superhuman blows or assaults of energy – elemental or otherwise – without sustaining injury. His body can mete out his superhuman strength without bones breaking or skin splitting and blunt force or impacts he is generally impervious to.
Superhuman Vitality: Wildfire's muscles take much, much longer to begin producing fatigue toxins than humans, enabling him to engage in physical activity for extended periods of time without beginning to weaken.
[/ul]Energy Projection: Originally, on his first venture with the Omega Men as a youth, Ryand'r was experimented on by Psions and could afterward emit boiling heat from his hands for limited purposes. Recently, after being abducted by colleagues of those Psions that experimented on his sisters so many years ago, the same test was administered to him – pumping him full of energy to see how much a Tamaranean could absorb before dying. Saved by his sister, Starfire, before the end result, Ryand'r emerged on the other side able to project energy stored in his cells into destructive beams, bolts or bursts, called “starbolts.” Wildfire's expended energy is uniquely rose in hue, unlike his respective sisters' jade and violet starbolts.
Linguistic Assimilation: Ryand'r can learn any language through physical contact.
Standard Abilities: Master Combatant: Ryand'r was trained by the Warlords of Okaara, as was his older sisters before him. He is a master of hand-to-hand and armed combat.
Master Marksman: Before gaining his starbolts, Wildfire was proficient in the use of futuristic blasters. He since uses that trained aim to aid him in hitting targets with his energy blasts.
Dignitary: Just as he was trained in the arts of war on Okaara, Ryand'r has spent most of his youth being taught the ways of nobles, politics, and diplomacy. Likewise, he still maintains a title as Prince of Tamaran, and has particular sway and power therein.
Communications Sciences: Wildfire's chosen field. He is an invaluable communication scientist, and can not only operate advanced alien technology, but create his own from scratch if need be.
Paraphernalia: Ryand'r has employed blasters (Tamaranean equivalent of firearms) in the past, and could do so again if need be.
Subject Weaknesses: Just as all Tamaraneans, there are many times when Ryand'r's passionate whims may overwhelm his better judgement. Though a formidable adversary with heightened invulnerability, Wildfire is not immune to attacks, specifically of a piercing and can be overwhelmed, especially by alien technology.

Subject History
Prince Ryand'r was born into royalty, and chaos.
The planet Tamaran housed courageous warriors with love in their hearts. After years of peaceful coexistence within themselves, the Tamaraneans were threatened by a neighboring, malicious alien empire, the Citadel, headed by none other than their former crown princess - and Ryand'r's oldest sister - Komand'r. During the turmoil, the populace of Tamaran, formerly lead by a royal family over every continental region, banded together under the direction of their fiercest warrior, King Myand'r - Ryand'r's father.
No matter the Tamaranean's skill and valor, the Citadel was far too great a foe to overcome, and many of their own were killed. Therefor, grudgingly, King Myand'r formed a truce with his traitorous firstborn to save Tamaran. However, that treaty included selling his second daughter, Koriand'r into slavery to sate Komand'r's deep-seated loathing of her. Though this brought peace from interstellar enemies, the surviving people of Tamaran saw Myand'r's decision as cowardly, and discontent grew into unrest, which turned into civil war.
This is how Tamaran was when Ryand'r was young. Torn.
Growing up in Tamaran, Ryand'r was talented in all standard realms that were required of him. He was even sent to the planet Okaara to be trained by the warlords there in combat - as was the right of every youth of royal lineage. Ryand'r did not relish the art of diplomacy or warcraft, however. Instead he found his calling in communications science - though, that is not to say that he was not well-versed in combat and politics.
It was this fact, and during his time on Okaara that Ryand'r drew the attention of a man named Primus, who was leading a ragtag group of refuges against the Citadel. Primus invited Ryand'r to join the Omega Men, which he agreed to. During his first mission on the team, Ryand'r was abducted by the merciless, inquisitive Psion's. Just like his two sisters before him, he was experimented on, to bizarre results. He did not gain the starbolts of Koriand'r and Komand'r, but instead could generate blazing heat from his palms.
Ryand’r and the Omega Men were called back to Tamaran to witness the marriage of his sister Koriand’r as Ryand’r joined his family in opposing Komand’r's usurpation of the throne. Following these events, Ryand’r decided to stay on Tamaran, leaving the remaining Omega Men to return to the stars. Ryand’r eventually accepted Komand’r as queen, after a number of altercations and conflicts with her.
Yet Komand’r's tactics as ruler were oppressive to her brother, Ryand’r. As such, he resolved to make his escape from his sister’s clutches. Using a jury rigged subspace communicator he had built, he sent out a message on the Omega Men’s communication channel. He then flew straight up into the stratosphere of Tamaran, hoping that someone had heard his signal and would come for him. He was collected by a ship housing a number of his old teammates, including Ynda, with whom he was reunited.
Ryand’r was off-world when New Tamaran was devastated by the Sun Eater, but he was influential in finding a new home for his lost Tamaranean people. To this end, he helped lead an invasion on the planet Karna, home of the Gordanians. Ryand’r eventually enlisted the aid of his sister, Starfire, who duped the Titans into believing that the Gordanians were the invaders. Starfire feared her friends may not agree to defend the Tamaraneans had they known all the facts. The Titans were able to settle the conflict peacefully when Tempest proposed a treaty, suggesting the Tamaraneans and Gordanians could share the planet. The Gordanians would allow the Tamaraneans to stay and in exchange, the Tamaraneans would teach the Gordanians new trades outside of slavery, thus bolstering their reputation in the galaxy.
Ryand'r spent several years traveling with the Omega Men, battling the Citadel and the galaxy-conquering Spider Guild. When Darkstar zombies and the Lady Styx attacked the Omega Men, their numbers were decimated. Ryand'r worked alongside Elu, Tigorr, Doc and Broot as the sole survivors of their once-large family protecting the Vegan System from threats. The clashed with Vril Dox and Starro the Conqueror. Ryand'r's flame-based powers began increasing exponentially, linked to the "heartstones" found on Earth being sought by Lady Styx yet again.
*He heard recently of Tamaran's relocation to the southern continent of Rann lead by Komand'r while he was unreachable on Omega Men business. This revelation, combined with a sudden vanishing of his powers making him question his usefulness to his allies caused Ryand'r to take an indefinite leave of absence from the team. On his way to Rann, Ryand'r stopped by a contact of the Omega Men to look into his lost powers, who betrayed him and handed him over to Psions - associates of those who once experimented on his sisters - who eagerly subjected him to the same tests. Ryand'r managed to get a distress call out on a secure line and was rescued before the experiments could kill him by his sister, Starfire.

Subject Interview
"We have been curious for more than a decade now..." the voice said, cultured and eloquent, but unnervingly devoid of genuine emotion. There were inflections that attempted to mimic common cadence and timbre, and somehow the intent that that copying held made its failure all the more menacing. Even through the painful, barbed haze draping his disoriented mind, the voice twined and filled his veins, still shaking off the numbness of drugged slumber, with dread. "...what in the grand experiment administered to your siblings gave them their unique expenditure capabilities."
Colors blurred and slowly knit together as his vision cleared. The scene that were brought into focus was even more terrifying than the voice speaking. Cold, impersonal, unnaturally sterile walls and floors surrounded him, illuminated harshly by a star much too close that could be seen through a clear panel in the domed ceiling. Projected as a hologram in the air just before Ryand'r's sight was a reptilian humanoid looking at him with derision and remote apathy.
"Regrettably all subjects procured since in the effort to replicate the phenomenon have been... inadequate." Ryand'r instinctively flexed, trying to regain autonomy of his motor functions, but his limbs were held fast. More spacial awareness returned to him and he realized that his calves and feet, forearms and hands and neck were all encapsulated in cold, biting metal shackles in turn connected to a strange column he could see stretch above him to the viewing panel showing the blistering light of the near star.
"Some of us theorize there may be a unique genetic trait possessed by the original specimens' DNA that holds the key. How fortuitous that our associate could find the only creature in the galaxy who shares it." Ryand'r's thoughts clicked, one after the other, in a cascade of realization, reconciling the disparate pieces of the grave situation into one infallible whole. He strained all the more, muscles rippling beneath bronzed skin, but to no avail.
"Of course, others think that we have simply not found the frequency the original experiment was forced into when interrupted by the Citadelian attack that freed the first subjects." The Psion inclined one scaled brow in the closest thing his emotionless race had to a shrug. "Let us hope the former holds true, otherwise this would be a terrible waste of resources." Ryand'r struggled to speak, but his voice was shallow and broken. He knew words wouldn't sway his captors, though, and knew that they enjoyed explaining their genius to their guests before... starting.
The Psion looked aside, as though noticing something beyond the scope of the machine that transmitted his intangible likeness in the air of the operating room. "Aah. The solar energy has been locked. We will commence focusing thermal units into your cellular structure. Hopefully results will prove fruitful... before you expire." The machines hummed to life, a rope of solar flare lashing from the star, attaching to the conductor like a lightning bolt to a rod. The column that Ryand'r was fastened to roared with pure ultraviolet radiation, in turn funneling directly into his body.
Every molecule in his body screamed with pain, and then so was he, his mouth split open and an inhuman cry tearing from between his teeth.
