Courage is strange. We all hope we have it, but few are truly tested.

Participants: Jason Prince + Clark Kent Open/Closed: Closed Location(s): Metropolis City Time of Day: Early afternoon Weather: Clear, bright, sunny day Summary: The Man of Steel meets the newest member of Themyscira's Wonder family and has to, well, wonder if he can truly be trusted or not.

Having powers was still something Jason was very new to. Diana was being her wonderful self and helping him learn. Also having seen her memories, including her own training and her experiences as a hero, helped. The trick was just remembering to reference those memories and see how to best handle a situation when one arose. He was still getting the hang of that. It was also odd being so far from home, being able to go anywhere now because, well, he could fly now. He couldn't really say he missed the simple life of a fisherman.
He'd never been to Metropolis before, let alone the United States. He wondered if he could justify going to Disney World. Truth be told, he'd flown to the city but had been admiring it as Jason Prince, not Wonder Man. That was until he'd been about to check out the Metropolis Museum only to, well, learn that there was a current hostage situation going on. Oh. That explained the police helicopter flying above. He hadn't thought much about hearing it because frankly he still wasn't all that used to being able to hear it so clearly from so far away and wasn't used to the fact that doing something about it was now his job too.
It couldn't have been too long since the scenario had unfolded. Police cruisers were still arriving. Jason ducked away and found the quickest and best place he could, moving fast before rocketing into the sky, no longer Jason Prince. He was Wonder Man now. Metropolis had its own heroes, he knew this, but certainly one more right now couldn't hurt? That and he didn't see any of those heroes at the moment. He arched an eyebrow, musing to himself. Apparently it was time for a Wonder to do a Super's job.
Before he could start to think of a plan to assess the situation - honestly going down and talking with the local authorities would probably be a good start - a... Well a rocket launched itself through a window off the third story of the museum and hit the tail of the helicopter. Did hostage situations here always include rocket launchers? He moved quickly, catching the helicopter on his shoulders, fingers digging into the metal. He grunted, grimacing more out of instinct than necessity. The tail was on fire and barely still attached. The helicopter wanted to careen to the side into a nearby building, the runners still spinning wildly. He needed to get this down so the police officers could get out.
He moved carefully but quickly, unsure how long it would take for the fire to spread. He set the helicopter down gently on the ground several feet from the police cruisers. He could hear a firetruck already on its way - probably just a stop away judging by how loud it was to his ears. He moved, prying the door off the helicopter and reaching in. One of the police officers reached for him.
"Thank you, Superman..." she trailed off when she noticed that he definitely wasn't Superman. He smirked and helped her and the rest of the officers out.
"Actually, it's Wonder Man," he corrected with a wink.
