Selina's expression stayed as leisurely - almost with an edge of being inconvenienced - as ever all through Lois's explanation. She was a damn good poker player, and that was never more clearly evidenced than in those moments. The one thing that Selina either couldn't or didn't care to masquerade was the glint of hunger in her eye that'd been ignited at seeing the blueprints. And that light flickered brighter when-
Damnit. Freaking Lois Lane, she thought in mild humor to herself.
Because Catwoman had expected things to go a certain way from there and, true to form, Lane totally upended all of her expectations with the same ease that Selina picked a lock. She'd expected to be asked to put those blueprints to use for some noble purpose but not to have company. Made sense, she guessed. Reporters like Lane wanted to see things first-hand, not get accounts from others.
With the formal pitch finally in the air, each woman regarded the other impassively over the counter. Selina finally grinned, and the cunning packed in the expression was so strong it wasn't a wonder why she'd been considered an outright villain in Gotham for so many years. "Sure. Why not?"
