Frances Kane has not had a good run of it. All she ever wanted was a normal life but after her powers emerged she felt nothing but pressure to use them from everyone around her. In general she feels her powers have brougth her nothing but pain and guilt. She also had a second dangerous and unpredictable personality layered into her psyche and it can emerge without warning. I'm looking to find her redemption and stability as her story progresses to allow her to finally take control of her life. I'm happy to discuss any plotting. It would probably be easiest to start off threading with other Flash Rogues and potentially old Titan acquaintances.[break][break]
She is potentially open to romance plots but it will have to be a VERY slow burn because Frances has a lot to deal with and work through. I also have specific thoughts about who might be a decent match but feel free to message me with ideas. I might consider.[break][break]

Welcome back!! I didn't know Frances' character before, but she's really fascinating. If you're up for some villain threading I could have Gemini try to recruit her for an evil scheme to kill the Flash, not realising that Magenta is just one persona?

Does Gemini have a grudge against Flash? I'm really sure how any sort of villainy would be able to occur with Frances right now. She spent a lot of time as a villain in the comics and I want to try to give her a little more of a chance at redemption. Currently she's incarcerated and I've got a thread planned to get her out but even then she's going to be working very hard to keep the destructive personality at bay and come to terms with her lot in life.

Also, attacking The Flash was basically her entire personality in the comics and I really want to move away from that and let her be a person. There may come a time where I'm interested in writing her more as a villain again but for now I'm going to have to pass on murder plots lol. <3

Welcome back to the site, and back to RPing in general! It's lovely to have you around again! I was thinking that, perhaps, Frances and June would make a very interesting plotting pair, as both are possessed by/have experienced a significant duality. While I am currently writing June as very much in control of her person, having thought the Enchantress gone, I've got the evil aspect slowly and insidiously returning (namely because I like writing the struggle for agency within the self). As someone who has also suffered a split in their psyche, I think it'd be interesting to have them meet, or their alter egos meet, or discuss the struggles they've faced...so on, so forth. Basically, I think they're in a rather unique position and wanted to propose a meeting between the two!

June Moone (Sorry for the delay!) Thanks friend! It's lovely to be back even though I'm feeling extremely rusty lol.

I love the idea of these two characters threading! While I am likely to have Frances relapse into her evil persona at some point, I'd like to allow for her to find some stability and redemption for a little while so that if her other personality DOES take over it'll hurt that much more lol.

I'm not entirely sure how the two of them would meet or ever have interacted in the past. So I'm open to suggestions on that front. One thought is that Frances was never really very secretive about her identity because she never wanted to be a costumed hero or villain. But it's probably easily referenced or maybe there was even an article in the paper about her with her real name and situation. If June is reformed (at least for now) maybe she would have sought out a meeting with her if only to be like "It'll be okay." kind of a thing. We could either write that thread or just say that it happened before and do another thread after she's out where they hang out or something.

Frances doesn't have many if any friends due to her split personality and fickle alignment so maybe we could write them into becoming good friends and if June's evil is starting to show maybe she could even be part of the reason Frances relapses too.

Anyway I'm rambling now lol. Let me know your thoughts!

Based on what you said how would you feel about Gemini visiting Frances in jail to propose a deal; her help in an evil scheme in exchange for Gemini breaking her out. If Frances refuses Gemini will just leave her there, although she can always try to recruit Frances again in future with a different face if you'd ever like to explore her evil side

Gemini de Mille I guess it's up to you since it'll probably be a very short thread. Once Frances realizes what's going on she's going to shut down real fast and try to get out of the situation. As I said, I can't imagine her "evil" side resurfacing for a while because I don't want to write her evil.

I'd be ok with a short thread, plus it would be fun to write Gemini having a hissy fit xD

I really like the sound of the pair becoming close friends. June also struggles with friendships, so it'd be nice to give both a form of counsel and care that they're missing in the comics. Also, their similarities could lead to some really interesting threads in future, down the line, as it were. I too want June's 'dark half' to come back incredibly slowly, so there would definitely be no rush to Magenta's split personality surfacing!

Perhaps we could say they are already tentative friends? It is well within June's character to, if she heard of Frances' issues, visit her in rehabilitation and offer some advice from time to time. She could even be acting as her sponsor of sorts, which means we could be a little more open about taking Magenta out of her penitentiary and into the wider world, giving a few more thread backdrops! Would that work for you?

I like the idea of June maybe having visited once or twice. The thread that I just did with Trickster played out in a way that didn't seem like she had many visitors, if any, and she definitely is so busy being terrified of herself and her abilities that she's convinced herself that the only solution is to stay locked away for the rest of her life. I feel like she's at a point that she's been in there so long without incident that even her doctors are like "GIRL YOU'RE FINE GET OUT." Maybe June can be the one that finally coaxes her out of it. Maybe we could do a thread where she even just gets her like, to a nearby park or coffee shop or something just to prove to her that the world wasn't going to end if she tried again.
