Mistress of Magic reporting in. Zatanna is a renowned stage magician and member of the JLA. She is currently based in San Francisco but as a teleporter and touring magician there's an excuse to have her pretty much anywhere. I don't have any major plans for her just now so if you want to plot or thread let me know![break][break]
Zee is very single. While I am definitely open to the possiblity of a relationship with her, I am extremely picky with my Zee ships. To be honest, my dream would be to get a Dale Colton.

Such an exciting character to have on the site! I'm so hyped you've picked her up! As I'd mentioned very briefly the other day, I had a few ideas to put forward regarding plots!

The first involves Dinah and Zatanna, working together in what could quite simply be referred to as a classic 'Justice League' style team-up, working together to solve some sort of magical mystery! Quite what that mystery is, I don't know, but I'm open to suggestions or ideas!

The second throws M'gann and Zatanna on the hunt of a White Martian mystic, who is using some sort of power not usual to Martians, that M'gann believes is magic. I figured this could be fun as it would test both characters, Zatanna with a class of magic she isn't familiar with, and M'gann with a Martian that is very different to her.

The final involves June - basically Justice League Mystic shenanigans! I figured we could come up with some sort of mystic 'evil' the pair are both drawn to, namely in order to prevent it. I'd also like to think June sees Zatanna as a life line, because if anything ever went wrong with Enchantress, she'd figure Zatanna would be one of the people she could turn to.

I'm up for any of these ideas! I'm thinking maybe we should hold off on June/Zee since we already have a thread going with her and Frances. So probably either Dinah or M'gann!

I'm not super familiar with White Martians so I may need some help in that regard but that sounds like a solid place to start for a thread.

As for Dinah we could always go with the classic "magic artifact" option. Something was unwittingly triggered, someone is using something that has now possessed them, someone unleashed a demon, someone activated something but didn't know they activated it and it's doing a thing, etc. I feel like having something draw them there that isn't necessarily magical but then it turns out to be? But it would need to be big enough to bring in the big guns.

It's up to you if you prefer Dinah or M'gann and we can narrow some more from there <3

Roy Harper I wasn't sure which account to tag so I just picked one. Anyway, as far as our chat in Discord, did you have any thoughts about what I said? I'll paste my response here for easy reference lol

Well I am in love with Roy Harper so I’ll thread with him at any time lol.

I’m sure given his demonic association we could probably come up with something for Red Devil fairly easily.

Atom and Booster there’s JLA stuff I’m sure. I don’t know a lot about Choi though. Static we’d probably have to work really hard to come up with something.

If you still want to thread do you have anyone you prefer or need threads with? Let me know your thoughts and we can narrow down and try to plot something.

I totally agree with the June/Zee point, considering our Frances thread.

Perhaps we could start with M'gann, and move to Dinah at a later date? Space-magic is always quite a fun and unique crossover! Honestly, there isn't much to know about White Martians bar they're the white, more evil Green Martians. They shape-shift and they're cunning, war-like creatures (unlike M'gann!). I just happened to really like the idea that rather than be some sort of invading force used most frequently in comics (which tend to focus on their brute physical strength) , there is one, lone, planet-hopping White Martian who has been learning intergalactic magic from hidden places about the cosmos. It combines both their backgrounds in quite a new way, and gives them a unique challenge!

You tagged Roy, so Roy could work!

Roy could always use more friends, so maybe just a social thread? I also put Roy in Fawcett for a little spell, so maybe some magic mumbojumbo flares up in the city and Zatanna shows up to solve it, only to find Roy getting his butt kicked by a bunch of demons or something? Roy tends to get his butt kicked a lot

M'gann M'orzz I mean this works for me. I might fumble a little through it with the martian stuff lol. Is this something M'gann would come to Zee about? Or would you want Zee to reach out to her? I feel like J'onn could be a good catalyst for the situation either way. M'gann could have been sent to Zee by J'onn or Zee could go to question J'onn about the situation and run into M'gann instead.



Roy Harper Awww give Roy is quite capable and deserves more credit than that

So if you wanted to do something in Fawcett we could just do something like, thieves rob a museum and get more than they bargained for with some magical artifact they take. Maybe Roy is on the scene so he starts attempting damage control of the situation and Zee can show up and they can work together to retrieve the stolen good(s) and put everything right.

I also had a thought that might not work for a first thread. I'm not sure where Roy is in terms of Lian's death but we could potentially do a thread that has something to do with Lian's spirit. One option is that maybe Roy starts being haunted by her and at first thinks he's going crazy but starts to think it's really her somehow. (It would be her spirit trapped on earth because of how she died.) He could come to Zee for help and they could release her and give Roy some closure.

Another option of a similar theme could just be that, since she can conjure the spirits of the dead, Zee offers to conjure Lian's spirit so that Roy can say goodbye or whatever.

I like the silly museum idea! Very classical! As for the Lian ideas, I'm not 100%. I'll have to think exactly where Roy's mental state is (other than buried somewhere in a ditch and dead) specifically on that subject. Probably recoverying but still not in the best of places...Hm, maybe could be an idea.

No worries - I mean I fumble through approximately 90% of any plot involving anything, so it'll make two of us! As for how to start us off, I really like the idea that Zee seeks out J'onn and runs into M'gann instead. As M'gann is actually a white Martian herself, she'd probably know more about that aspect of things than her 'uncle.' Perhaps Zee has found a strange symbol at the site of a magical 'incident', and that symbol happens to be Martian, so M'gann recognises it and can identify its meaning? It might be a nice, easy starting point, and we can work on the whole 'tracking down the rogue alien spellcaster' as we go?

I mean isn’t that the whole point to have him NOT be in the best mental state before something like that happens to force him to deal with it lol? I had just meant that I didn’t know if he’d already dealt with it on some level. But if you don’t want to do anything like that I understand too. It’d probably be a hard thread to write emotionally. Like I said, probably not a great idea for a first thread anyway but if down the line you change your mind let me know and we’ll figure something out.

Unless you have thoughts, I’ll try to work on a starter for... something for the museum lol. You had mentioned you would want it set in Fawcett City?
